Ronna Ander born and raised in Ancaster, Ontario and in 1976 moved to West Vancouver, British Columbia where she resides today.
For the past 29 years has pursued studio ceramics. Taught pottery for a number of years and presently employed as the pottery studio technician at Gleneagles Community Centre in West Vancouver.
In 1999 became a member of the Capilano University advanced pottery group. Favours traditional English and Japanese methods of stoneware pottery including salt and raku firing techniques.
The joy of making something from a lump of clay has shaped my life and I still find my enthusiasm for pottery ever growing.
