JACKIE FRIOUD ― CERAMIC ARTIST

Jackie lives in North Vancouver, and has been making salt-glazed pottery for more than 20 years.

She has a BFA from the University of British Columbia. Her work has been featured in magazines and in the book Ceramics: Creative Adventures in Clay, as well as in shows in Canada and the US. She was a recipient of the Northwest Ceramics Foundation Award of Excellence in 2018.

Jackie lived in Horseshoe Bay for almost 30 years, and had a kiln and studio at her home on Madrona Crescent. Now living in North Vancouver, she shares a studio at the Mergatroid Building in East Van. Her salt kiln is in Lund, north of Powell River where she goes several times a year to fire.
